Veneta Kozhuharova graduated with Masters Degree in 2008 from University of Forestry, Veterinary Medicine Faculty, Sofia, Bulgaria as a Veterinary Surgeon.
Next three years she spent working as a Veterinary Officer in the Government Public Health Services and Border Official Veterinarian. She was volunteering in a charity small animal practice.
In 2011, Veneta became a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and since then she is practising in the United Kingdom.
Since 2012, she is a certified Export Official Veterinarian approved by the APHA and helps companies to export their goods by certifying products from animal origin and obtaining import permits if needed. She owns an export company called Export Health Certification Services.
In 2016, she received a bursary from Royal Canin to study Small Animal Clinical Nutrition and in 2017 she was awarded with Level 4 Certificate in Canine and Feline Health Nutrition.
She studied and got certified Raw Dog Food Nutrition and Acute Canine Herbalism.
She is a member of the Raw Feeding Veterinary Society.
She founded Diets For Dogs - an online canine nutrition consultation service to help dog owners feed their four legged friends healthier diets. She has a holistic approach and advocates fresh and functional feeding regimes. She respects dog owners ethos and endorses vegan and vegetarian diets.
In 2017 she developed Doggy's Cuppa - range of herbal teas for dogs. The range won award for the Best Hydration Products for Dogs and it was one of the finalists for the prestigious PETQUIP Award for Healthy Dog Innovation in 2018. This range tackles the most common conditions seen in every day veterinary practice and consists of general health tonics, brews to address upset digestion or urinary issues and blends for anxious, obese, aging and sport/working dogs. On the following year Doggy's Cuppa was bought by Pawfect Food.
She formulated Dr Veneta's Kitchen - dog food range of pre-mixes of wholefoods, herbs, probiotics and seeds which are an excellent base for complete and balanced raw or vegan diet or healthy toper for dry foods.
She develops new exciting natural dog supplements and foods for various British Dog Companies.
To serve all her clients in 2019, Veneta has established her own Veterinary Practice - Associated Veterinary Services.
Veneta is innovative entrepreneur in dog food industry and she is open to new business partnerships with ethical companies.
